To join in with celebrations of the 2012 Olympic Games the RYA is running a nationwide “Sail for Gold” initiative. We are delighted to announce that 7th Wave will be hosting a Sail for Gold junior regatta during Port Erin Beach Festival on 14th & 15th July. Our Sail for Gold pack arrived today with loads of exciting things in it!
There will be six races to comprise the series. Three races on Saturday, the first start is at 2pm and three races on Sunday, first start 10am. Sailors must be aged 18 or under. 7th Wave boats will be available to use but sailors will need to book their boat in advance, or bring your own boat. Let’s see if we can get 20 boats on the water to make it the biggest junior regatta on the Island this year! If you want to take part please contact us 🙂
