Our shop has undergone an enormous change over this weekend. howies has gone (there are a few bits left all going at sale prices) but that’s it, we are no longer stocking the howies brand.
We are certain that the change is positive one – change is the only constant after all….
So what’s new? Well, Manx business Tapped Clothing have brought out their own range of T-shirts and hoodies all of which are organic cotton, some are even made from bamboo! Their stuff arrived on Friday evening and it is lovely, the fabrics feel and look great, the colours are really vibrant and the designs are completly original and the gear is reasonably priced. At the moment the stock is limited awaiting their official launch….. traa dty looir!
Then, we had just finished hanging the Tapped gear up, when Manx Indie arrived with all the Plain Lazy gear which I had ordered last week. And the puzzle began again, fitting stuff into the shop is like arranging one of those puzzles where you have to move the squares around to make a picture but you only have one free square to move things into!
Yes, we decided to drop the howies gear and replace it with the Plain Lazy brand. Plain Lazy are another ethical company, they are not yet wholly organic but are heading that way. Reasonably priced hoodies and T-shirts carrying slogans which make you smile “For Cod’s Sake Eat Haddock” “D.I. Why?” “Make Tea Not War” and many others.
Please come and see our new shop in it’s old place, new clothes, new colours, new prices, it’s well worth a look!
